Best Mac Eyeshadow For Hazel Eyes

MAC eyeshadows are some of the best I've come across. The can be used wet or dry. They come in a variety of formulas, like matte, pearl, satin, frost, velvet and lustre. My favourite shades are; -Wedge, which is a soft matte brown that is perfect to use in your crease.

-Brulee, which is a satin beige, perfect for setting your eye primer before you go in with other shadows. Best usb 3.0 external hard drive for mac. -Woodwinked, which is a bronze brown pearl, great for putting all over your lid. -Carbon which is a matte jet black, a must have in my collection! All the formulas that I've tried are pretty similar in the way that they apply. They are very pigmented, with minimal fallout. They are blended really easily, and last well throughout the day.

I love that you can buy these shadows in their own compacts or as individual pans to create your own customised pallete. I've tried so many different brands of eyeshadow I've lost count, and I always return to MAC. There are many reasons for this. First - quality! They are highly pigmented, show up true (with a primer) and will last all day long. Second, they have a great selection of colours to choose from and are always adding limited edition colours to the range so that even those of us who have been collecting for ages don't run out of new ones to try!

They aren't super expensive considering the quality, though I've bought most of mine in the US where they cost about half what they do here in Aus. They last forever and are definitely worth the investment. They also don't irritate my sensitive eyes even if I wear them all day long.

However, try them first before you buy as not every shadow is the same in terms of consistency and blendability. PROS: Very pigmented. Somewhat creamy and soft texture. (depending on which 'finish' you buy.) Lasts quite well on my eye and in the package (had my same two colors of MAC shadow for years). They have some really unique colours.

CONS: Mattes are not my favorite finish by MAC; they're generally a bit harder to blend than the other MAC textures in eyeshadow. I own a mac eye shadow called Pink and a palette with neutral colours that I bought during xmas time. The Pink shadow is so tightly packed that my brush has a hard time picking up the shadow. I remember the sales guy at mac hesitated a little before selling me this shade. Now I know why.

The pallete on the other hand has beautifully pigmented, buttery soft eye shadows. I think Pink was just an odd one out among their range of eye shadows. The packaging is your classic mac pot with the clear lid that snaps shut.

It's pretty common knowledge that MAC eyeshadows are well pigmented and high quality - I have several MAC eyeshadows, but only two are single pots (as can be seen in this product's picture), the rest are all mini palettes from collections. The two colours I have in single pots: - Humid (shimmery forest green) - Black Tied (deep black with a subtle silver sparkle) I bought both of these pots in 2008 - it's been eight years, and I use black tied on top of my liquid liner almost every workday, and I am still not entirely out of product, and the product has remained really pigmented and high quality.

MAC eyeshadows are pricey but you get amazing quality and your product will last you a long time. The only complaint I would have - I would LOVE to buy these shadows in smaller versions for a smaller price. I hardly ever use humid, and so rather than pay $33 to use it for 10 years, I'd have much rather paid $11 to be out of it by now. But MAC is geared towards professionals, for which these volumes are necessary. I am the proud owner of 2 MAC eyeshadows - woodwinked and cranberry and couldn't be happier. Woodwinked is a bronzey colour that can be used all over the eye and when blended in the crease, it forms an orangish transition shade.
